PTC and ITC Infotech ink deal to boost customer digital transformation initiative

ITC Infotech and PTC have signed an agreement to accelerate customer digital transformation initiatives. ITC Infotech said it would acquire a portion of PTC’s Windchill® Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software as a Service (SaaS) and create a new business unit of ITC Infotech called DxP Services.

ITC Infotech is among the leading global technology services and solutions providers. ITC Infotech delivers tech solutions and services to enterprises such as Banking & Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Travel, and Hospitality.

PTC said it is investing heavily to bring its entire product portfolio to the cloud via its PTC Atlas™ SaaS Platform to meet the fast-emerging market need. PTC and ITC Infotech will also bring professionals from both companies to create and offer the tooling and methodologies required to expedite a smooth transition to SaaS.

PTC said it would continue to lead customer implementation services with unique requirements, such as U.S. federal government security protocols. The company will also continue collaborating with its global partner ecosystem to drive digital thread initiatives.
