Microsoft has announced the launch of Copilot Pro, an improved version of its artificial intelligence-driven virtual assistant. Launched last year with Windows, Copilot has gained popularity with over 5 billion interactions. Enjoying this success, Microsoft is now introducing Copilot Pro, a premium subscription service that offers advanced AI features in Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
With the new Copilot Pro, users can access a range of generative AI features that aim to revolutionize everyday tasks. For instance, it can create PowerPoint presentations from simple prompts, rephrase and summarize text in Word, analyze and visualize data in Excel, and compose and respond to emails in Outlook.com. Copilot Pro enables users to leverage the latest OpenAI models and create personalized Copilot GPT.
In a blog post, Microsoft stated, “We are announcing the availability of Copilot Pro, a new subscription that delivers the most advanced features and capabilities of Microsoft Copilot to individuals looking to supercharge their Copilot experience. Whether you need advanced help with writing, coding, designing, researching, or learning, Copilot Pro brings greater performance, productivity, and creativity.”
Priced at $20 per month per user, or approximately ₹1600 in India, Copilot Pro is an add-on to existing Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscriptions. The premium service is compatible with various platforms, like Mac, Windows, iPad, iOS, and Android.
Moreover, Microsoft is introducing new features in Copilot, such as Copilot GPTs, allowing users to customize Copilot’s behavior based on specific interests like fitness, travel, cooking, and more.
