According to an annual report by Loftware, a software company specializing in Enterprise Labeling and Artwork Management solutions, nearly 71% of businesses believe the cloud or a hybrid solution will be their preferred deployment method for labeling within the next three years.
By 2027, according to Gartner, more than 50% of businesses will be utilizing sector-specific cloud platforms to expedite their business activities.
“Cloud adoption is the cornerstone of impactful digital transformation programs, as evidenced by the strong feedback we have received from our customers and partners. Among the many benefits on offer, the cloud provides quick deployment times, lower upfront costs, easy access, the ability to scale, and automatic updates,” said Josh Roffman, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at Loftware.
“As companies of all sizes strive to increase profitability, drive growth, and streamline operations, we expect to see a growing number of forward-thinking organizations adopt the cloud for mission-critical business processes, including labeling.”
Most business executives questioned by Loftware (80%) stated that supply chain issues directly influenced their companies. Additionally, 62% of respondents agreed that extending labeling to partners and suppliers allows them to avoid re-labeling while saving time, money, and resources.
93% of respondents said having a business model that supports speed and agility in today’s evolving business climate is crucial. This is not surprising given that the modern global supply chain needs higher visibility and agility as businesses grow into new countries, add new suppliers and partners, maintain continuous operations, and satisfy rising regulatory and customer demands.
