Microsoft has announced Deep Search, a new experimental feature to Bing’s web search powered by OpenAI’s GTP-4.
Microsoft Bing Deep Search delivers more relevant and detailed answers to the most complicated search questions. This methodology enables Bing to access a broader range of web pages, increasing the likelihood of discovering more informative and specific results.

Delving into greater depths requires extra time, and the Deep Search process may take up to thirty seconds to complete. While this duration may appear lengthy compared to regular searches, the wait can be worthwhile for those seeking more precise or comprehensive answers.
Moreover, Deep Search is only suitable for some queries or users. It is specifically tailored for individuals with complex questions requiring more than a simple response.
Bing ensures standard search results are returned in less than a second, and Deep Search is an optional feature for people with specialized needs.
GPT-4 is currently integrated in many places on Bing, like Copilot, Image Creator from Designer, and standard web result ranking. It notably contributed to one of the most significant improvements in Bing’s history in January.
