What are the disadvantages of data warehouse?

The major disadvantages with the data warehouses are:  

  • They are expensive, due to the expensive storage type they use for data processing 
  • They are not highly scalable for multiple types of data (as they need pre-processing for ingestion which takes time). 
  • They are not easy to change, even a well-developed data warehouse is not agile to changes.
