Smriti Handa joins BharatPe as its Chief Human Resources Officer
Smriti Handa has joined BharatPe as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. Smriti Handa will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and will focus on strengthening the company’s organizational culture and HR practices. BharatPe is India’s one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies.
Smriti Handa, appointed to build BharatPe as an employer of choice, said she is “excited” to step into the startup world.

My conviction about the organizational purpose, business growth trajectory, and leadership’s intent to leverage culture to create a long-term sustainable business made this an easy decision. Before joining BharatPe, Smriti was HR Head at Reckitt Hygiene – SoA before taking over as Global Talent Acquisition Director. Smriti Handa has also worked with Philips and Airtel in global and local roles in the past. Smriti has worked with Business and HR leadership to create business impact deep-rooted in people, performance and purpose. Smriti is known to deliver passionately on inclusion and a digitally superior and ownership-driven work environment in all her previous assignments.
She has studied at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University, and Management Development Institute (MDI) in Gurugram.
